Scene: 45 - EXT. JAMES RIVER - DAYA group of mostly black Christians has gathered for John Casor's baptism. A small chorus of singers off to the side, sings a renaissance chorale. Two men walk him into the river, turn him, hold his back, and lower him into the water. Virginia is crying against Elizabeth's shoulder.
